Cloud formations behind this jagged mountain ridge, located at Whitewater Ski Hill in British Columbia, Canada, make for a dramatic scene. This is the incredible and iconic view from the mountain lodge. Although it's dangers and potential deadly results are well-documented, many extreme skiers traverse to various points on this ridge and ski down the steep cliffs and avalanche chutes.

This image, printed in large 24x36 format on metal, is currently on display at Village Ski Hut, 367 Baker St., Nelson B.C.
