This is the watercolour painting by Arthur Lakes, commissioned by Lydia Hume, 1916.
The edges of the painting have been cropped and cleaned up slightly to fit the 5:7 sizing required for greeting cards and the 1000 pc. puzzles. All effort has been made to retain the feel and integrity of the original work, including the artists paint drops and flaws.
Should a print, 500 pc. puzzles or other product be desired, the watercolour would still be spectacular...the edges will just show a bit differently.
