The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A male mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos) raises itself out of the water and flaps it's wings. Near dusk, the accompanying sunlit water droplets, wings, and outline of the duck are highlighted against a dark background by the last bit of sun.
