Artist's Description
I have been mesmerized by how clouds twirl and wrap around the forest trees for years. and have literally taken thousands and thousands of images in all seasons, waiting for just the perfect moment and colouration. This is probably as close as I will get to my personal vision of perfection, taken this fall in the Purcell Mountains in southeastern British Columbia (Kootenay Rockies). In this image, low-lying rose-coloured clouds at sunset wrap around and envelop near-silhouetted forest trees, while those trees in the background are obscured by other more dense cloud, leaving the viewer with an almost mysteriously, otherworldly, enchanted feeling.
