Description
During the very rainy, blustery pre-dawn hours in Maui, while others slept in their cozy and warm beds, an intrepid photographer arose and went to the local preserve in hopes of catching wildlife and the magic hour. It was not to be as the birds had more far more sense, and there was no magic to be found in the rain. The photographer saved what she could from the adventure and changed her focus to landscape photography. Upon her arrival home and craving a nice warm coffee, the travel companions laughed and laughed. There was no mercy bestowed upon the silly, wet, and cold photographer.
Now, after sitting in the computer for months, new life has been breathed into to this forgotten image. Editing magic has brought out the gorgeous blue/light purple hues that were resting in the grey surroundings and they blend together creating a softness beyond the silhouetted tree branches. It now looks like the photographer has had the last laugh after all.
